| Hereford Chapel Dedication |
Photos were taken by John Saffell during the rededication of the chapel at the Hereford Memorial. The chapel, and the old watertower behind it, are all that remains of Camp Hereford in Hereford, Texas. The soldiers buried here were: Cpt. Renzo Banzi 1900-1945, Cpl. Pierluigi Berticelli 1921-1945, Lt. Evaristo Fava 1909-1944, Prt. Innocente Ortelli 1921-1943, Sgt. Giulio Zamboni 1902-1945. These burials were transferred to Fort Reno, OKafter the closure of the camp.
