This list of Prisoner of War Camps, Italian Service Unit Camps, and Prisoner of War Hospitals is still being developed with new locations added as we work through the weekly reports located on NARA microfilm #66-538 (population lists June 1942-June 1946).
Ogden ASF Depot was later known as Defense Depot Ogden. POWs were kept at this location to assist with the warehouses supplying U.S. Forces around the world as well as assisting with local agricultural activities. By the end of the war, they housed separate compounds for both Italian and German POWs.
The POW Camp at Ogden (UT) during World War II was a base camp over the following branch camps:
Logan, UT (branch camp under Ogden ASF Depot)
Orem, UT (branch camp under Ogden ASF Depot)
Salina, UT (branch camp under Ogden ASF Depot)
Tremonton, UT (branch camp under Ogden ASF Depot)
