This list of Prisoner of War Camps, Italian Service Unit Camps, and Prisoner of War Hospitals is based on weekly reports located on NARA microfilm #66-538 (population lists June 1942-June 1946). Additional locations based on newspapers, interviews, and other NARA records (at College Park and Regional Archives).

The POW Camps in Oregon during World War II included:

*Abbot (Camp Henry L.), Sunriver, Deschutes County, OR (branch camp under Rupert, ID), now Sunriver Resort stands in it's place
*Adair (Camp Henry R.), Corvallis, Benton and Linn Counties, OR (base camp, formerly a branch camp under Hill Field, UT)
*Athena, Umatilla County, OR (branch camp under White, OR)
*Bend, Deschutes County, OR (branch camp under Rupert, ID)
*Independence, Polk and Marion Counties, OR (branch camp under Rupert, ID)
*Nyssa, Malheur County, OR (branch camp under Rupert, ID)
*Salem, Polk and Marion Counties, OR (branch camp under Rupert, ID)
*Squaw Creek, Scotland County, OR (branch camp under Lewis, WA)
*Stanfield, Umatilla County, OR (branch camp under White, OR)
*Vale, Malheur County, OR (branch camp under Rupert, ID)
*White (Camp), near Medford, Jackson County, OR (base camp)

Enemy alien internment camps:
Portland, Multnomah,Washington and Clackamas Counties, OR (assembly center)

Camp White had a branch camp in CA.
