This list of Prisoner of War Camps, Italian Service Unit Camps, and Prisoner of War Hospitals is based on weekly reports located on NARA microfilm #66-538 (population lists June 1942-June 1946). Additional locations based on newspapers, interviews, and other NARA records (at College Park and Regional Archives).

The POW Camps in Nebraska during World War II included:

•Atlanta (Camp), Atlanta, Phelps County, NE (base camp)
•Crook (Fort George), Bellevue, Sarpy County, NE (base camp)
•Indianola (Camp), Indianola, Red Willow County, NE (base camp)
Robinson (Fort), Crawford, Dawes County, NE (base camp)
•Scottsbluff (Camp), Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff County, NE (base camp)
•Souix Ordinance Depot, Sidney, Cheyenne County, NE (base camp)

Cemeteries:
•Fort Robinson Post Cemetery, Ft. Robinson, NE (transferred to Camp Butler Nat'l Cem. in IL in July 1947)
